This unique chart presents gardening events in a time-phased format, using a horizontal calendar so that it is possible to see the entire Planting, Growing, and Harvesting period at a glance. Chart shows proper Indoor & Outdoor planting times relative to local spring and fall frost dates for 22 commonly grown garden vegetables. Since frost dates vary, the RED frost line slides, making Clyde's chart useful in most parts of the Northern Hemisphere, where frost is a critical gardening factor. A Listing of Local Spring and Fall frost dates is included in the directions, (US & Canada).

The front of the chart presents the Spring Season, and the flip side acts as a guide for Fall gardeners. Chart also provides planting data; seed quantity, seeding depths and row/plant distances, minimum outdoor soil temperature for germination, sunlight requirements, expected yield and natural companions for companion planting, (where the roots nourish each other). Developed by a friend and customer, this handy chart is a favorite of our staff and customers to our store, so we have added it to the catalog. A must for new gardeners.
